Huh. What should I do?

My ex, wants to be facebook friends after two years of being apart. Two years of no apologies for the shit I was put through.

I'm not sure if I should do it.

Or maybe this is just considered "moving on"?

Argh.

WTF? omg!

Really? All i want to do sometimes is stare into the sky and say, "really?!?"

I know, there are less fortunate people than me, and I know I have had some lucky breaks. Especially for some of the bad decisions made, and bad luck, things have turned out okay. But really?

*SIGH* I really think writing is good for me, and helps, and I will be trying to be more consistant, but i need a little while to sit and think, "really?"

Ok, done with all that crap, moving on, happy labor day. I will be laboring, but a short shift for a change, so let's party people.

Kate Gosselin should be neutered.

Or is it "Kate should be spayed"? I always forget what it is you do to dogs to keep them from procreating on national television. No the words, just which one is for male dogs, and which one is for bitches. (The dog term for "bitches", not the other one, chill out.)

Seriously, a reality dating show for Kate, who is airing a reality show with her kids at the monent? Enough is enough. Obviously her fan base isn't THAT great, or she would have lasted longer on that dancing show. So cut it out already.

Please.

Pretty please?

*Note: I really don't watch this stuff, just saw it on the news. Promise.

Ralph Machio is my hero.

You SOOOO gotta watch this. Make sure you click the Ralph Machio link, otherwise you might end up watching something I didn't like. And you wouldn't want that.

Favorite line of the month....

Aside from Brittany from Glee, who has some of the best one liners (I think my cat's been reading my diary), here is my favorite.

"My mom's condition has remainded relatively unchanged since she died five years
ago."
Courtesy of Straight Guy with Girly Dogs, whose link can be found to the right. I am always at a loss when people ask "What are you doing for Mother's Day?" or "Have you called your mom lately?" (To which I used to say, no, the seance is not until next week.)

I am hereby stealing Straight Guy's response. If people don't appreciate the humor, oh well.

This is my way of posting without really having to say something.

Flash Fiction Friday?

Long time readers will remember Flash Fiction Friday, where a sentence, or open ended sentence was posted on a Friday, and by Sunday, your mission was to write a short story with the sentence as the opener. You were then to post it to your blog, and then post a link to it on the Flash Fiction Friday blog.

It is gone now. (Unless someone can tell me otherwise.) I'm looking for another site, similar, or looking for people interested in starting one somewhere else.

I don't care so much for the rules. It could be Flash Fiction Tuesday. It could be "Write a story on Thursday". Whatever. I just thought it was a cool creative outlet, and it was fun seeing the widely different ways someone could take one sentence and run with it.

If you know where one exists, let me know.
If you would like to participate in a new one, let me know.
If you could care less, let me know, I still like to hear from you, and care about your feelings.
If you are hot and single, send me a pic and your phone number.

Updates on most things Bobby.....

Indulge me while I update the two of you on what's going on in different parts of my life:

Keepher, my dog/best friend: Doing well, enjoying walks, avoided being kidnapped by the ex twice now, and is happy and content.

My single life: Wow. After some of the sappy posts I made while with someone, (some of which didn't contain all of the reality at the time, since my ex read my blog), I am so much happier now being single. I'm not against another relationship (you know who you are, sexy) but for now, being happy being me.

Work: Going well again. And just recently applied for a big promotion, and found out that my proposal (which we had to write to be considered for an interview) was a big hit, and the interview is soon. It would be the kind of promotion that would make me consider staying with the company for a long time, whereas now, I think another year will max my patience out. I'll keep you posted, but it was nice getting some positive feedback for a change.

Home: I miss my brother (who lived here for 6 months or so), but I'm glad he's happy in California. Still considering moving there and getting a place together, depending on the job situation, and how he likes it there. Keepher is happy here, and it's a really good location. Close to the city (while not IN The city) and close to jumping on the interstate, to get to work, or pretty much wherever I want to go.

Family: reconnected with lots of family lately via facebook. While no big revelations or discussions have been had, it's good to see people are doing well.

Friends: Still working on getting some new friends. Or developing semi-friends into real friends. I have a few good ones though, and some good potentials, so all is well.

Ok, enough real posts, promise my next one will be funny or sarcastic, or just the usual Bobby non-sense.

Complaining doesn't always get you stuff....

I know a lot of people live by the theory that if they complain enough, and loudly enough, they will get what they want.

Last night, a woman tried it at my work a few minutes before i left. She was yelling, holding up other customers, etc. to get what she wanted.

Me, I have fun with this sort of thing. So after interjecting myself into the situation, she asked to see the policy i was referring to.

I replied, "I'm paid to the the policy. I don't need to go print it out for you."

She kept on, so I asked her to leave. Even more fun, I took the items she was trying to buy off the counter and said she wouldn't be getting those either, on top of the items she was trying to yell about.

She said she wasn't leaving so I told her she was now trespassing, and I would call the police. Most people fall for this as i start dialing my own cell phone number and acting like it was the police.

She did calm down though. She did leave. And she didn't get what she wanted.

That made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I've returned

Ok, I said this before and it didn't work out. But I am back, i have returned, I have a lot of catching up to do with everyone, and catching up with new people, etc. I shall be around now, really. And now, I have to go for the night, but I just had to come and let you know I am planning on much more now. See ya'll really soon.

One quick work note, I was ocvering the register at Shenaniganz the other day when a customer asked for a pack of "Marlboro Light Capris". If you smoke, you know this is two different tyoe of cigerettes, marlboro lights, and capris. I asked what they wanted again, and I swear they said it again.

Finally, the enunciated, and said, I would like a pack of marlboro lights, PLEASE.

I am so used to people not saying thank you, or please, or even being minutely polite, that please totally translated into capris.

Sad, but true.
