Yes, most of my gaps in posting in the past have been blamed on us moving, but usually within town.
Now, we temporarily moved to Texas, things aren't quite working out, and we are headed North. (Not back to Virginia.)
May be a few days before I post again, but will be retracing some of the states I mentioned a few posts earlier, so wish us luck.

Tick Tock....
Justin is out of the hospital and feeling better, not perfect, but better.
So, how hard is it to find a place to live in 48 hours, and oh yeah, a job?
I am guessing pretty hard, but still going to try.
Tomorrow may be my last chance to post for a while, but we'll see. Thanks for the emails and comments, it's good to know you are all still out there, and hopefully doing better than we are.

Life is a highway....
MY last post ended with....
Life is an adventure, and I am riding it along right now.....
Now, Justin and I are coasting. The deadline(s) are looming, and oh, did I mention Justin ended up hospitalized Friday evening, and is still there now? Makes it a little hard to get jobs, look for a place, etc. (and keep an eye on the dog at my friend's house who is moving this weekend.)
Life is now not so much an adventure, but a scary ride where you aren't driving, you have no idea where you're being taken, and you feel shit out of luck.
He may be getting out tomorrow, but the doctor hasn't come today yet, so who knows....? I will try to keep you posted, at least until Friday where I lose my connect to the internet for a while again, maybe, who knows for sure?
I picked a lousy time to stop sniffing glue. Coming soon, plenty of info on the hospital as soon as he's out.

Conclusions about random States....
Below are the states we traveled through on our recent journey, and conclusions I made....
Virginia - Move along unless you're just like us. And you will never be just like us.
West Virginia - Move along, we increased the speed limit so you can get through the state faster, but we priced our gas higher, our rest stops (with restaurants) are overpriced, and we have toll roads you can't possibly avoid.
Kentucky - We've kept the speed limit up too, but please stay and enjoy our horses. (Take that anyway you want to.....)
Indiana - I cant really say too much, as I only saw a bit, but they actually have full service gas stations there still. I didn't know anyone had those. And the price was still lower than West Virginia.
Tennessee - Please stop and see either a retired country star's museum, restaurant, amusement park. OR, buy something about Elvis. I mean, he's still alive and making money off of it, it's not just s state tourism thing. Really. He was just spotted visiting a Burger King in Idaho.
Arkansas - We've closed all of our rest areas, and most places won't have public restrooms. Move along, we don't want you actually seeing how freaking weird we are.
Texas - I'm not sparing Texas. Until we hit Central Texas, there were still left over signs from Arkansa to repent, and that God was waiting to meet us at the next exit, etc. SO I will give Central Texas it's own entry....
Central Texas - Although it has changed, a lot is still familiar and wonferful (the lake and the people.) Justin continues to lobby to move to Indiana/Kentucky though, so who knows.....

I'm not trying to offend anyone....but,
geez the drive down to Austin was strange. There are some strange, weird people in this country, people you usually only see on television or movies and think "that can't be real."
oh, it's real. and scary.
anyway, we made it to austin, and of course hit rush hour with traffic at a complete standstill, the temperate was 104. Yes, 104. (Unusual for this time of year, and oh, did I mention we have no A/C?)
So, off to job and house hunt. The countdown to "no money" is on.

Really?
Yes, really.
I am alive. Justin is alive. Believe it or not, we left our hometown the other day, and we are now in another state, with relatives trying to convince us to live here, when we were on our way back to Texas. (Austin, the good part of Texas.)
My best to all of you, especially those of you who still stop by, seeing if I have posted anything lately. I am using my cousin's computer right now, but who knows when we get to Austin??
I will post as soon as I can, everyone take care!!
