Kate Gosselin should be neutered.

Or is it "Kate should be spayed"? I always forget what it is you do to dogs to keep them from procreating on national television. No the words, just which one is for male dogs, and which one is for bitches. (The dog term for "bitches", not the other one, chill out.)

Seriously, a reality dating show for Kate, who is airing a reality show with her kids at the monent? Enough is enough. Obviously her fan base isn't THAT great, or she would have lasted longer on that dancing show. So cut it out already.

Please.

Pretty please?

*Note: I really don't watch this stuff, just saw it on the news. Promise.

Complaining doesn't always get you stuff....

I know a lot of people live by the theory that if they complain enough, and loudly enough, they will get what they want.

Last night, a woman tried it at my work a few minutes before i left. She was yelling, holding up other customers, etc. to get what she wanted.

Me, I have fun with this sort of thing. So after interjecting myself into the situation, she asked to see the policy i was referring to.

I replied, "I'm paid to the the policy. I don't need to go print it out for you."

She kept on, so I asked her to leave. Even more fun, I took the items she was trying to buy off the counter and said she wouldn't be getting those either, on top of the items she was trying to yell about.

She said she wasn't leaving so I told her she was now trespassing, and I would call the police. Most people fall for this as i start dialing my own cell phone number and acting like it was the police.

She did calm down though. She did leave. And she didn't get what she wanted.

That made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.....

Read the title of the post again. Very appropriate.

Here's the skinny.....

Ex is being an ass, threatening to take my dog and stealing my money, despite the fact that would leave me without rent, food, etc.

But things are changing as of next Friday or so....

While things haven't been great by any means, things are looking up now, and stay tuned for more info. Hope you are all well....

Conclusions about random States....

Below are the states we traveled through on our recent journey, and conclusions I made....

Virginia - Move along unless you're just like us. And you will never be just like us.
West Virginia - Move along, we increased the speed limit so you can get through the state faster, but we priced our gas higher, our rest stops (with restaurants) are overpriced, and we have toll roads you can't possibly avoid.
Kentucky - We've kept the speed limit up too, but please stay and enjoy our horses. (Take that anyway you want to.....)
Indiana - I cant really say too much, as I only saw a bit, but they actually have full service gas stations there still. I didn't know anyone had those. And the price was still lower than West Virginia.
Tennessee - Please stop and see either a retired country star's museum, restaurant, amusement park. OR, buy something about Elvis. I mean, he's still alive and making money off of it, it's not just s state tourism thing. Really. He was just spotted visiting a Burger King in Idaho.
Arkansas - We've closed all of our rest areas, and most places won't have public restrooms. Move along, we don't want you actually seeing how freaking weird we are.
Texas - I'm not sparing Texas. Until we hit Central Texas, there were still left over signs from Arkansa to repent, and that God was waiting to meet us at the next exit, etc. SO I will give Central Texas it's own entry....
Central Texas - Although it has changed, a lot is still familiar and wonferful (the lake and the people.) Justin continues to lobby to move to Indiana/Kentucky though, so who knows.....

Life is an adventure, and I am riding it along right now.....

I'm not trying to offend anyone....but,

geez the drive down to Austin was strange. There are some strange, weird people in this country, people you usually only see on television or movies and think "that can't be real."

oh, it's real. and scary.

anyway, we made it to austin, and of course hit rush hour with traffic at a complete standstill, the temperate was 104. Yes, 104. (Unusual for this time of year, and oh, did I mention we have no A/C?)

So, off to job and house hunt. The countdown to "no money" is on.
