Give me my money.

It's never easy, is it? I have been waiting for money for my unemployment, and waiting, and finally found out it went to a card from years ago when I was laid off from Circuit City. So, of course I had to ask for a replacement card. And the bank had all of my old info, and didn't believe I was me at first.

I think I just have a problem with banks in general. Remember the bank who wouldn't cash my check because it had my nickname on it? No? That's okay, I forgive you.

So, now, a month and a half into my quest for a new job, I still have received no money. They owe me a month of pay at this point, and I haven't seen a penny. It's on the way though, at least some of it is. Monday at the latest after I paid a fee to expedite my card.

I think I will just start hiding cash under my bed or something. Well, obviously not there now that I told you, but cash will be king in the future. And I shall be it's queen. Wait, that didn't come out right at all, but you get the picture.

Some good news for a change.....

So yeah, uh, I was fired. Unfairly fired, but still fired. (A whole long post about that later when I'm up to it.)

Anyhow, despite being unfairly fired, and the ex employer knowing that, they still tried to lie and deny my unemployment. And they got caught at it, and lost their claim. I haven't seen any money yet, but just got the letter that said it was coming.

I can't believe they did that, wait, yes I can, they are shit heads.

Anyone know of a good job opportunity? Anywhere? Willing to move pretty much anywhere, especially if it's cooler. Summer with a broken AC really sucks.

Wow, how tme flies (Mostly)

Yes, time flies, except when you are unemployed, sitting at DMV, the hospital, or being forced to watch a Doogie Howser Marathon. Alright, Doogie is ok, but the others suck.

Long time no hear, no write, whatever.... I hope the two of you who still stop by are doing well. I have some time on my hands and will be trying to write more. I've been wanting to a long while, but my laptop often gets commandeered by my roomie to watch movies or download porn. Then of course, I have to make sure the porn doesn't have any viruses, so I end up watching it myself, and well.....

So, tune back in soon. Lots has happened at the former Shenaniganze job, some funny, some serious, some downright ridiculous, and some slanderous.

*SIGH*

Sorry i haven't said anything lately, life's sucked and I need to move on.

Nothing new, Justin and I are over, looking for a new job (a better job), and the car is dying, and close to not having any money at all.

*SIGH*

Life needs to get better before the holidays or I am REALLY going to be depressed......

I don't want to jinx it, but.....

I dont' want to jinx it or anything, but I think we just found a place to live, and could be living there tomorrow evening, or Saturday at the latest.
Unfortunately, this may mean a (hopefully) short lapse in my posting, as it will take a few weeks to get all the stuff hooked up in the new place.
It's not the greatest place in the world, but it has potential, and most importantly, it's a great price.
I haven't heard back about the job, but they said today or Friday, so let's just think they are carefully (and in awe) reviewing my resume and deciding to hire me on the spot.
Its really close to Justin's job, which is great because I think I will be working about 15 minutes away, (unlike my previous 45 minute commute). So once again, everyone keep their fingers crossed please, and I will update when I can. And read your blogs when I can. And hopefully my next post will be so full of happy crap that you will just be envious as hell. Ok, at least you'll be happy of hearing my whine, and I can start bitching about things that really matter, like WalMart employees who call me fat (I'm not, not that there's anything wrong with that), angry joggers (remember that whole thing), or inappropriate erections (go through the archives, it's there, but don't say I didn't warn you when I say you probably don't want to read it.)

pssst! check it out....

I actually posted twice in one day yesterday. Amazing. I'm not saying the first one was anything special, my it's been a while since I've done that.

I wouldn't get used to it, got a decent job lead today, and may even be starting Monday. Don't know yet, more waiting, of course.

Just keep livin' man, jk livin.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to the people responsible for Xanax. (NO, I don't really listen to the little voices, except when I hang around my midget friends.)

Without Xanax, I would have seriously hurt numerous people before today.

Couple of good job leads today, and I talk to someone in the morning about a cool new opportunity back in my old Training and Development field, (and it pays well), so wish me luck.

For those who are tired of my whining.....

Please move on if you are tired of hearing of my whining about a job. And yes, I have now lowered my standards and I am looking for any job pretty much that pays something, but even those people say I am over qualified and won't stay.
Argh. I do have something in the works, something I am not sure I am qualified for, but that I convinced the hiring manager I was, so as soon as my background check clears (it will), I have a final interview in a few days. It is not the perfect job, but is actually the highest paying job I have applied for. (I am qualified for it, just haven't really done the exact job before.) It is a few more hours than I am used to, and it would mean being on call pretty much 24/7, but as the old saying goes, "It's always easier to find a job when you already have one." which is a pretty stupid saying if you ask me.
Otherwise, Justin was in and out of the hospital again, same issue, apparently what he had can become chronic after a while, or totally go away at any time, never to return.
Life is wonderful, life is great, I am going to get that job, or a job this week. I can't really write well right now, or write about some of the funny stuff going on, as I am consumed by jobs, job hunting, tweaking my resume, etc. but hopefully all of that will change soon.
